Who We Are
The Türkmeneli Students and Youth Union is a civil society organisation founded to meet the needs of Turkmen youth in education, culture and solidarity. Since its founding, its core aims have been to support students' academic success, pass cultural heritage on to younger generations and help young people take an active part in public life.
Our Aim
Our Union works to make quality education easier to reach, to strengthen solidarity among young people and to keep Turkmen culture alive. To this end, it runs scholarship programmes, preparation courses, workshops, conferences and cultural events.
What We Do
- Education: A non-repayable scholarship programme, university preparation courses, academic mentoring and language classes.
- Culture and Arts: A cultural heritage archive, literature workshops, folk dance and music.
- Youth: Leadership camps, volunteering programmes and support for developing projects.
- International Relations: Student support and partnerships through our offices abroad.
Our Values
Transparency, merit, solidarity and volunteering are the core principles of our work. All our activities are carried out under good governance and with accountability.
